Mortgage Debt Relief Help Hotline

National Mortgage Relief Hotline (800) 750-8956

behind on mortgage reliefBased upon the state you call from, this Mortgage Help Hotline routes to local government agencies, non-profit outreach centers, and privately funded help centers. It was designed to put you in direct contact with a housing expert at no charge to assist you with your current situation.

Are you having trouble making the mortgage payment? Are you behind on mortgage payments? Facing Foreclosure? Are you looking to reduce the payment by modifying your mortgage? You can call the Mortgage Relief Hotline for help and free advice.

They may be able to assist you directly or route you to another center specializing in solving your problem.

What to expect when you call:
You'll be asked about your situation and how you fell behind. They will compare your income with your expenses and offer a plan of action to get you back to current status. Even if you are current, they may have a plan to help reduce your payments through a loan modification program. None of the agencies which help with the Mortgage Relief Hotline buy real estate.

When you call, have a recent mortgage statement or letter from your mortgage company, and a recent pay stub handy.

What it will cost:
There is no charge to speak with an expert through the Mortgage Relief Hotline. If they determine that they have a program which would resolve your situation, they will fully discuss how it works, what to expect, and if there are any costs along the way. If they do not have a program, they will offer free advice where to go to get other types of mortgage debt relief.

What it will cost if you don't call:
Whether you call this mortgage help hotline is up to you. If you fall behind on the mortgage, you will receive letters, owe late fees and even attorney fees until you find a solution. Beware of fast-talking people who want to take advantage of your problem for their gain. Some may want to buy your home and lease it back to you. Do not sign over the title to your property to anyone. Often their contracts are filled with fine print to prevent you from getting your home back.
The hotline routes to reputable providers who have met our standards of performance. They can help you with advice to stop foreclosure and get you back on track. Please let us know your suggestions how we can improve this resource for consumers.
